Reading John Wieners

I long had two copies of John Wieners' work at home but always struggled with them. This event was intended to develop a way to read poetry together, where prior knowledge and experience was uneven in the room.

The first part intended to provide space for contextualisations and reflections; the second part was a collective reading of some of the poems, with discussion; with time at the end to reflect on the possibility of doing something with Mayday Radio and poetry.
