Ima-Abasi Okon, Dominique White & Taylor Le Melle in conversation

This conversation between Dominique White, Ima-Abasi Okon and Taylor Le Melle was commissioned by not/nowhere. Recorded in January 2020 in a coffee shop, White and Okon talked to Le Melle about their respective sculptural installation practices and how they manage and manipulate the condition of sales around their work. For each, the condition of sales in intended as a mechanism to protect their work from exploitative consumption and extraction. All three conversants have expressed the wish to share this conversation exclusively with black female & non-binary artists and cultural workers.
